Colombian band Bomba Estéreo was founded in 2005 originally as an experimental project led by musician and audio-visual artist, Simon Mejia together with singer Liliana Saumet. They are now an internationally-touring band that has been described as “electro vacilón”, “electro tropical” or “psychedelic cumbia.”
