iLe is a Grammy winning Puerto Rican singer, songwriter and vocalist. It is rare for me to be able to go to Spotify, click on an artist, and play all their music without picking and choosing. But with iLe, all her music is so reliably good across the board, I can listen to her entire discography all day and be completely, joyfully, entertained.
iLe does what I love most about new global music–she brings in rich sounds of traditional, cultural, folkloric roots and makes it modern. I am a huge fan and if you give her music a listen, you will be too.
